Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information The Project Plan Room ("we", "us") collects on this course site, why, who can see it, and the choices you have. It covers the course site at theprojectplanroom.com (including the former address psp-exam-prep.dcesmllc.com). Our free community on Skool is also covered by Skool's own privacy policy.
1. What we collect
Account information. Your email address and, if the checkout provides it, your name. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider and stored only in hashed form; we never see it.
Purchase records. Which course you bought, when, and which checkout it came from. We do not receive or store card or bank details. Payments are processed by the checkout page you bought through and its payment processor.
Study data. Your progress, drill records, missed-question pool, practice test attempts and scores, the memo text you type, and memo scores. This is saved to your account so it follows you between devices. You can clear your practice test results and drill records yourself on the History tab.
Optional member profile. Only if you fill it in: display name, photo, headline, job title, company, location, years in the industry, certifications you hold (self-reported), target exam and date, LinkedIn link and a short bio, plus your two sharing switches.
Sign-in and technical records. A record of your current sign-in session, which we use to allow one device at a time. Our hosting, database and email providers keep standard service logs, which can include IP address, browser type and time of request.
Browser storage. The site stores your sign-in token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.
2. How we use it
To create and secure your account, give you access to the course you bought, save your progress and results, send sign-in and password reset emails, enforce one device per account, show your profile and scores to other members only when you choose to, answer support requests, and keep records we need for accounting and tax purposes.
The memo text you type stays in your account. This site does not send it to any artificial intelligence service or other third party.
3. Who can see it
Other members. Nothing about you is shown to other members unless you switch it on in My Profile. "Show my profile" shows your photo and profile details. "Put my best Full Practice Test score on the leaderboard" shows your display name and your best practice score. Only signed-in members who bought a course can see shared profiles and the leaderboard. Your email address is never shown to other members. Switching either option off removes it straight away.
Administrators. Site administrators can see account, purchase and study records, and every profile, to run the course, answer support requests and moderate content. An administrator can hide a profile that breaks the Terms of Use.
Service providers. We use Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage), Netlify (web hosting), Resend (sign-in and password reset email) and the checkout and community platforms you bought or joined through. They process information only to provide their service to us.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of members or the site.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account and study data while your account exists. Practice test results and drill records you clear are deleted when you clear them. A profile you delete, and its photo, are deleted when you delete them. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its study data within 30 days, except purchase records we must keep for accounting and tax purposes.
5. Your choices and rights
You can view and change your profile at any time, switch sharing off, delete your profile and photo, and clear your results. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account. We respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law.
Do Not Track. We do not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off; the site works the same either way.
6. Security
The site uses encrypted connections. Access to your data is limited by database rules so that each member can read only their own records and what other members chose to share. Profile photos are stored privately and served through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure; keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think your account has been used by someone else.
7. Children
This site is for working professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant we will also tell members by email or on the site.
